The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a new drug to treat a rare form of the arthritis pain that has affected more than 15 million people.
The FDA’s warning for the drug, Celebrex, was based on data from the first clinical trial that showed Celebrex lowered the risk of heart attacks and strokes among people with type 2 diabetes. The agency said the new drug is not approved for the treatment of arthritis, although it has been used for more than 15 years to treat osteoarthritis.
The new drug is called Vioxx, and it was the first oral therapy approved by the FDA to treat osteoarthritis.
Vioxx was the first oral therapy to treat osteoarthritis, the main cause of arthritis in the United States. The first oral therapy, which is similar to Celebrex, is called Advil.
The Food and Drug Administration has not approved Vioxx for the treatment of arthritis in the United States.
According to the FDA, Celebrex is not approved for the treatment of arthritis in the United States.
“In addition to this study, the Food and Drug Administration has not approved Vioxx for the treatment of osteoarthritis,” said Dr. Elizabeth Kavaler, who authored the report that was published Monday in theNew England Journal of Medicine.
The FDA said the study did not identify a significant difference between the two treatment groups and did not provide any reason why the drug could not be used as a treatment for arthritis in the United States. The study was conducted in more than 100,000 patients with arthritis and the FDA said the new drug is not approved for the treatment of osteoarthritis.

“Our findings do not support the use of Vioxx for the treatment of osteoarthritis,” said Dr. Robert C. Langer, director of the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, which has conducted the study.
Vioxx was the first oral therapy to treat osteoarthritis in the United States. The new drug is the first to treat arthritis.

It is also not recommended for use in patients with/had a history of an ulcer in stomach/intestines, bleeding in stomach/intestines, blood circulation problems (such as peripheral arterial disease), red itchy welts, inflammatory disease of the intestines (such as ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s disease).
The medicine is also not indicted for use in patients suffering from lung problems (such as asthma), heart diseases (such as heart failure, recent heart attack, heart block), severe liver disease (such as advanced hepatic insufficiency) and/or kidney disease (such as advanced renal insufficiency).
Before taking CELEBREX 200MG CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have diabetes, raised blood pressure, increased cholesterol, signs of fluid retention (such as swollen ankles and feet) and/or hyperkalemia (increased potassium level in blood).
CELEBREX 200MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in pregnant and breast-feeding women.
CELEBREX 200MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in children and adolescents (aged 2 to 17 years) to manage only juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and is advised to be used with caution in elderly patients (aged 65 years/above) after consulting the doctor.

Celebrex is a prescription medicine that belongs to a class of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation (swelling). Celebrex works by blocking a substance in the body that causes inflammation. To date, there is no information available about the cost and availability of the drug in Europe. Therefore, the manufacturers of the drug have recommended celecoxib as a first-line treatment for the management of rheumatoid arthritis and other systemic conditions.
